Job Summary
To support a growing treatment practice, the full-time State Licensed Staff Provider will facilitate rapid-access intakes and provide enhanced medical support through telemedicine, while maintaining a member-first attitude and collaborating with a team of providers to ensure successful treatment outcomes.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct intake medical duties, including determining medical necessity and prescribing medications as needed
- Maintain a panel of maintenance members, ensuring regular follow-ups and documentation in compliance with policies
- Provide coverage for colleagues and participate in administrative duties, including high-quality documentation and scheduling management
Required qualifications
- Active state license as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in good standing
- At least 1 year of experience managing opioid use disorder (OUD) with buprenorphine
- Experience working in a team-based care setting with behavioral health providers
- Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and credentials with health plans
- Access to reliable internet and telecommunication services for telemedicine
