State Licensed Staff Provider

Job Summary

To support a growing treatment practice, the full-time State Licensed Staff Provider will facilitate rapid-access intakes and provide enhanced medical support through telemedicine, while maintaining a member-first attitude and collaborating with a team of providers to ensure successful treatment outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct intake medical duties, including determining medical necessity and prescribing medications as needed
• Maintain a panel of maintenance members, ensuring regular follow-ups and documentation in compliance with policies
• Provide coverage for colleagues and participate in administrative duties, including high-quality documentation and scheduling management

Required qualifications

• Active state license as a Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant in good standing
• At least 1 year of experience managing opioid use disorder (OUD) with buprenorphine
• Experience working in a team-based care setting with behavioral health providers
• Willingness to obtain additional state licenses and credentials with health plans
• Access to reliable internet and telecommunication services for telemedicine
