Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager of Statutory Reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the external financial reporting process, including preparation of Statutory Quarterly and Annual Statements
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and account reconciliations
- Support compliance by preparing annual and quarterly state compliance filings related to financial reporting
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- 7 years of experience in accounting
- CPA or other appropriate designations
- Strong technical skills in statutory reporting software and Microsoft Office suite
- In-depth knowledge of Statutory and GAAP accounting for life insurance companies
