State Licensed Structural Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Structural Design Engineer - Renewables to support utility-scale solar photovoltaic and battery storage projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing structural designs and drawings for solar foundations and support structures
• Conduct project specification research to ensure compliance with applicable building codes
• Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams to address structural-related issues and provide drafting support using AutoCAD

Required Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent
• Civil Engineer-In-Training (FE) registration required
• Minimum of 2 years of engineering experience in structural design; 4+ years preferred
• Specific experience in structural foundation design for utility-scale solar projects preferred
• Knowledge of relevant codes and software tools related to structural design
