State Licensed Surgical Oncologist

Job Summary

Providing expert consulting services, the part-time State Licensed Surgical Oncologist will assist the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) with regulatory responsibilities, including supporting medical device reviews and conducting data analysis, all while working 100% remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Support medical device reviews, including EUA, 510(k), and De Novo marketing applications
• Develop written reviews and correspondence while participating in meetings with stakeholders
• Conduct research and data analysis related to surgical oncology and medical devices

Required qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited medical school in the U.S
• Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S
• At least ten years of relevant clinical experience in surgical oncology
• Certification from a relevant U.S. specialty board organization
• Thorough understanding of current clinical practices and medical devices used in surgical oncology
