Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Accountant Tax.

Key Responsibilities

• Liaise with external consultants for state and local income/franchise tax compliance
• Prepare and review indirect tax filings and monthly/quarterly tax account reconciliations
• Assist with tax planning initiatives and maintain organized documentation for compliance

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required
• Master's in Tax degree or CPA is a plus
• 3+ years of relevant experience in state and local tax compliance
• Solid understanding of multistate income/franchise and indirect tax regulations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
