State Licensed Tax Associate

Job Summary

Detail-oriented and self-directed, the part-time or full-time State Licensed Tax Associate will be responsible for completing surplus lines tax filings, conducting compliance reviews, and managing client communications, with opportunities for remote work or hybrid arrangements in Pleasant Grove, UT.

Key Responsibilities

• Timely and accurately complete state regulatory surplus lines tax filings
• Conduct compliance and quality reviews on documents and state legislation related to surplus lines tax filing
• Assist in directing team members to maintain compliance with all surplus lines tax filings

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
• 2+ years of accounting, compliance, or insurance-related experience
• Intermediate skills in Excel or other spreadsheet software
• Self-directed and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
• Demonstrated willingness to take initiative and act decisively
