Job Summary
To lead operational functions and drive business strategies, the full-time State Licensed Tax Compliance Senior Manager will oversee multiple engagements, respond to tax authority notices, and identify new business development opportunities while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and supervise multiple engagements in progress simultaneously
- Research complex tax matters and act as the main point of contact for clients, responding to tax authority notices
- Identify new business development opportunities and assist in growing existing client services
Required Qualifications:
- 10+ years of state income tax compliance experience, focusing on managing a compliance team
- Strong understanding of state tax concepts, including nexus, apportionments, and combined reporting
- Experience reviewing and delivering complex multistate returns
- Proficiency with state tax technology, including CCH Axcess, and strong Excel skills
- Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities in a professional/client-facing environment
