Job Summary
Providing virtual tax consultations, the full-time State Licensed Tax Consultant will assist military members and their families with tax filing questions and guidance while working remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct virtual tax consulting sessions through secure communication platforms
- Analyze complex tax situations and provide individualized consultation and recommendations
- Manage participant caseloads, documentation, and follow-up activities in accordance with program standards
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience providing tax preparation services
- At least one active certification as an Enrolled Agent or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Strong understanding of military-specific tax issues and the unique needs of the military community
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Tier II clearance
- US citizenship with no current delinquency on federal debt unless under a payment plan
