Job Summary

A company is looking for a Total Loss Auto Adjuster.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze, evaluate, and settle insurance claims involving automobile material damage losses
• Determine the value of physical damage claims and negotiate settlements within prescribed limits
• Evaluate and settle auto total loss claims, potentially participating in catastrophe teams for auto losses

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• A minimum of two years general business experience in an insurance setting is preferred
• Must acquire and maintain state licenses as applicable
• Basic knowledge of automobile repair is required
• Strong skills in technology, including familiarity with estimating software and electronic communications
• Ability to learn through on-the-job training and claims training courses
