Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Broker & Underwriter (Transportation).

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate new and renewal commercial trucking accounts, analyzing risk and making pricing recommendations
• Prepare market submissions and ensure the accuracy of policies and endorsements
• Communicate with retail agents and negotiate with carriers to secure competitive terms

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Risk Management, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial insurance underwriting or brokerage
• Experience in both wholesale and/or retail brokerage settings
• Active Property & Casualty license required; Surplus Lines license is a plus
• Professional designations (e.g., CIC, CPCU, AU) strongly preferred
