Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Teacher of the Visually Impaired in Colorado.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide virtual instruction and support to visually impaired students according to their IEPs
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to implement accommodations
Conduct assessments, recommend interventions, and utilize assistive technology

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Education or related field with Visual Impairments certification
Valid teaching license in Colorado with Visual Impairments endorsement
Minimum of 2 years experience as a TVI, preferably in a remote setting
Proficiency in assistive technology and adaptive materials for visually impaired students
A passion for advocating for the needs of visually impaired learners
