Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III to manage underwriting processes for various loan types with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with standards and regulations
• Analyze financial information to assess risk and identify potential fraud or misrepresentation
• Collaborate with Loan Processors and Officers to finalize loan packages and provide recommendations to borrowers

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; preferred coursework in Business, Finance, or related fields
• Five or more years of experience underwriting various loan types
• Direct Endorsement (DE) certification and current state-specific certifications required
• Expert knowledge of mortgage lending processes and regulatory requirements
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a deadline-driven environment
