Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter III, Specialty Loans.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate loan documents for accuracy and compliance with standards
• Analyze loan applications to identify potential fraud or misrepresentation
• Provide options and recommendations to borrowers regarding suitable loan programs

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college courses in Business, Finance, or related field preferred
• Eight or more years of underwriting experience, with three years in specialty loans
• Direct Endorsement (DE) certification required, along with state-specific certifications
• Expert-level knowledge of mortgage lending processes and underwriting requirements
• Prior jumbo or Non-QM experience required
