Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting and Regulatory Counsel to provide legal, underwriting, and regulatory leadership.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate insurability of complex transactions and provide underwriting guidance
• Oversee regulatory compliance and ensure adherence to applicable insurance laws
• Support market expansion efforts by managing licensing and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• JD and admission to a State Bar in good standing
• 7+ years of experience in insurance regulatory law and/or title insurance underwriting
• Strong understanding of insurance regulatory frameworks and multi-state licensing requirements
• Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex regulatory and underwriting issues
