Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriting Manager who will ensure quality and integrity in mortgage underwriting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to internal and external clients
• Supervise and support the Underwriting Team, addressing questions and managing pipeline velocity
• Diagnose and resolve issues with loans and manage escalations effectively

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; BA or BS highly desired
• 7+ years of mortgage underwriting experience required, preferably with 2 years in FHA/VA loans
• Proficiency with automated underwriting systems such as DU and LPA
• FHA Direct Endorsement, VA-SAR, and LAPP certifications desired
• Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment
