Job Summary

To support a growing online educational environment, the part-time contract State Licensed Upper School English Teacher will deliver synchronous and asynchronous learning programs, conduct live seminars, provide timely grading and feedback, and maintain effective communication with students and families.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct engaging weekly live seminars and support asynchronous learning for students
• Provide timely and accurate grading and feedback on student work while maintaining an up-to-date gradebook
• Host live office hours to address student questions and concerns, fostering an inclusive learning environment

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in teaching or a related area preferred
• Content expertise in English required
• Active state teaching certification preferred
• Experience teaching or tutoring in a virtual setting preferred
• Technological proficiency in learning management systems and student information systems
