Job Summary

Seeking a part-time contract State Licensed Upper School Science Teacher specializing in Chemistry or Life Science, who will deliver engaging live and asynchronous seminars, provide timely feedback on student work, and host office hours to support student learning in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct weekly live seminars and manage asynchronous learning for students in the designated science area
• Provide timely, personalized grading and feedback on student assignments while maintaining an up-to-date gradebook
• Host four live office hour sessions each week to address student questions and foster engagement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in teaching or related area preferred
• Content expertise in Chemistry or Life Science required
• Active state teaching certification preferred
• Experience in virtual teaching or tutoring preferred
• Technological proficiency in learning management systems and student information systems
