Job Summary
Providing expert consulting services, the part-time State Licensed Urology Consultant will support the FDA's Center for Devices and Radiological Health (CDRH) with medical device reviews, stakeholder coordination, and documentation while working 100% remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Consult on medical device reviews, including EUA, 510(k), PME, and De Novo applications
- Coordinate and participate in meetings with internal and external stakeholders
- Develop written reviews, correspondence, and detailed reports related to CDRH projects
Required qualifications
- Doctor of Medicine (M.D. or equivalent) from an accredited U.S. medical school
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted medical license to practice in the U.S
- At least seven years of relevant clinical experience in urology
- Board Certification from the American Board of Urology
- Thorough understanding of urological clinical practices and medical devices
