State Licensed Vice President, Associate General Counsel

Job Summary

Leading the Content Acquisitions Legal team, the full-time, hybrid Vice President, Associate General Counsel will provide legal advice, manage risk assessments, and collaborate with various business teams while overseeing a team of attorneys in the dynamic streaming industry.

Key responsibilities:

• Serve as a leadership role model for the Content Acquisitions Legal team and develop Tubi's legal positions on content-related issues
• Negotiate and draft content license and distribution agreements while establishing best practices for efficient negotiations
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and third-party partners, ensuring timely communication regarding negotiation statuses

Required qualifications:

• 15+ years of legal experience in entertainment, media, advertising, or technology sectors
• 5+ years of experience managing and developing high-performing legal teams
• Proven experience in negotiating and drafting content acquisition agreements
• Strong understanding of digital rights management issues
• JD from an ABA-accredited U.S. law school and admission to the state bar in at least one U.S. state
