State Licensed Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner

Job Summary

To support a growing virtual care initiative, the part-time State Licensed Virtual Care Nurse Practitioner will deliver holistic, evidence-based patient care remotely, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling, while maintaining a minimum availability of 9 hours per week including every third weekend.

Key responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and health counseling for patients aged 18 months and above
• Evaluate and manage primary care, acute, and chronic health issues, while educating patients on health maintenance and preventive practices
• Document all patient encounters in the electronic health record (EHR) and coordinate care with internal and external healthcare professionals

Required qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted licensure in one of the following states: AL, AR, CO, IA, ID, IN, LA, MI, MS, NE, NV, OK, TN, or TX
• Completion of a Master's Degree level Family Nurse Practitioner program with National Board Certification
• Minimum of two years of medically-relevant experience or equivalent
• Ability to work autonomously and effectively within a patient care team
• Proficiency in information management and technology, with potential bilingual capabilities preferred
