State Licensed Virtual Instructor

Job Summary

Providing academic guidance and support for at-risk students, the part-time State Licensed Virtual Instructor will implement educational strategies in subjects such as Chinese, Latin, ASL, Science, and K-8, utilizing virtual conferencing technology to enhance student comprehension and engagement remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement educational strategies for individual and small group instruction
• Conduct 1-to-1 tutoring sessions and provide timely feedback on student assignments
• Orient students to coursework and maintain communication with parents and school administrators

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education or related field with at least 2 years of classroom experience
• Valid teaching license in at least one state, with preference for multiple licenses
• Experience working with at-risk students and those with special needs
• Familiarity with online course facilitation and educational technology platforms
• Ability to work flexible hours and maintain a self-directed, organized approach
