State Licensed Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant

Job Summary

As a State Licensed Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant, the full-time remote position will focus on reviewing disability claims, providing consultative services, and developing accommodation plans to support clients' return-to-work efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Managing an assigned caseload and prioritizing tasks to achieve departmental goals
• Developing and implementing comprehensive vocational and accommodation plans for clients
• Collaborating with claims specialists and medical professionals to assess and recommend accommodations based on medical documentation

Required qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Rehabilitation Counseling or a related field
• Certification as a Rehabilitation Counselor
• Experience working with individuals with physical and/or mental disabilities
• Strong computer and technical abilities
• Proficient in analyzing occupational demands and transferable skills
