State Licensed VP of Compliance

Job Summary

Providing strategic leadership and oversight of affordable housing compliance operations, the full-time remote State Licensed VP of Compliance will ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while driving operational excellence and risk mitigation across the Western region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional compliance strategies aligned with organizational objectives
• Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations and oversee audits, reporting, and risk mitigation efforts
• Build and lead high-performing compliance teams, promoting collaboration and continuous improvement

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance, Real Estate, or related field preferred
• 10+ years of progressive affordable housing compliance experience
• 7+ years of leadership experience managing multi-state compliance teams
• Extensive knowledge of LIHTC, HUD, USDA Rural Development, and HOME programs
• Experience interpreting complex regulatory requirements and leading organizational change initiatives
