Job Summary

Leading the organization's tax strategy and compliance efforts, the full-time State Licensed VP of Tax will manage the preparation and review of complex federal, state, and local tax returns while ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and optimizing tax efficiencies in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accurate and timely completion of all business and regulatory tax returns and tax accounting tasks
  • Lead the global tax planning strategy and maintain relationships with internal and external business partners
  • Conduct tax research on significant legislative developments and manage international tax issues and transfer pricing strategies
Required qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent professional experience; CPA designation is strongly preferred
  • Extensive experience in property and casualty (P&C) insurance is required
  • A minimum of 8-10 years of tax experience in a public accounting firm or corporate tax environment
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to work independently and manage teams effectively
  • Proven track record of managing multiple tasks and adapting to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
