Job Summary
A company is looking for a Sr. Workers' Compensation Claims Specialist, Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjudicate claims, investigate, and negotiate settlements while monitoring claim files
- Oversee staffing, conduct performance reviews, and coach team members on workflow and processes
- Facilitate regular team meetings and analyze performance data to implement necessary changes
Required Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma; college degree preferred, with technical designations encouraged (AIC, CPCU)
- Experience: 5+ years in adjusting property and casualty claims, with prior supervisory experience preferred
- Licensing: Active state-specific Workers Compensation License required or ability to acquire within three months
- Knowledge of General and Auto Liability or Workers Compensation coverages and multiple state insurance regulations
- Strong grasp of claims principles and practices, with a focus on compliance and client experience
