State Policy Advocate

Job Summary

A company is looking for a State Policy Advocate to lead advocacy efforts for energy and water efficiency standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead state-level policy advocacy campaigns in multiple states, coordinating with local allies
• Identify and collaborate with advocacy partners and build coalitions
• Provide technical and policy support, write educational materials, and represent the organization at events

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least two years of relevant experience or a master's degree
• Experience with state or federal legislative advocacy campaigns and coalition work
• Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
• Familiarity with climate, energy, and environmental policies is a plus
