Station Engineer

Job Summary

To support the Engineering Services Team, the remote Station Engineer will create substation drawing packages, including one-line and elevation drawings, while employing Lean manufacturing principles and troubleshooting production issues.

Key responsibilities

• Create and review detailed electrical drawings and models using SolidWorks
• Support capital projects aimed at improving safety, production efficiency, and quality
• Analyze manufacturing methods and drive engineering-related changes to enhance quality and cost-effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in General Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
• 3-6 years of experience in engineering with a focus on design, development, or project management
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools for design and analysis
• Experience with issuing Engineering Change Notices and conducting quality checks on documentation
• Demonstrated ability to lead process validation and pilot production activities
