Statistician

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statistician to provide statistical support in Veterinary Medicine Research and Development.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide statistical support for discovery, development, and product defense
• Implement innovative approaches for the design and analysis of clinical and laboratory trials
• Assist in training scientists in experimental design and related topics

Required Qualifications and Education

• MS in Biostatistics/Statistics or related field with at least 10 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, or PhD in Biostatistics/Statistics with 6 years of experience
• Knowledge of data handling and statistical analysis programming in PC-SAS
• Experience with experimental design and mixed linear/non-linear model methodologies
• Ability to develop training programs and mentor others
• Experience with clinical and laboratory trials for pharmaceutical and/or vaccine products is desirable
