Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statutory Accountant (P&C Insurance).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with NAIC SAP
  • Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes and perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Serve as a key contact for statutory audits and regulatory examinations, providing necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
  • 5-7 years of accounting experience in property and casualty statutory accounting or insurance carrier
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Strong working knowledge of NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
  • Experience in preparing or reviewing statutory financial statements
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with large financial data sets
