Job Summary
A company is looking for a Statutory Accountant (P&C Insurance).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with NAIC SAP
- Support monthly and quarterly financial close processes and perform balance sheet reconciliations
- Serve as a key contact for statutory audits and regulatory examinations, providing necessary documentation
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of accounting experience in property and casualty statutory accounting or insurance carrier
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Strong working knowledge of NAIC Statutory Accounting Principles (SAP)
- Experience in preparing or reviewing statutory financial statements
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with large financial data sets
