Statutory Controller

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statutory Controller.

Key Responsibilities

• Direct statutory accounting, financial statements, audits, and regulatory filings
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of financial statements and manage statutory capital levels
• Lead annual statutory audits and manage outsourced tax provisions

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred
• Minimum of 12 years of relevant public accounting or industry experience
• Minimum of 8 years of P&C insurance experience
• Strong experience in statutory-basis (SSAP) accounting
• Experience with WingsPlus/Sovos and Workiva preferred
