Statutory Reporting Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statutory Reporting professional.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with NAIC regulations and SSAPs
• Oversee the year-end financial close process and implement internal controls over financial reporting
• Identify process improvements in statutory reporting and support business units with financial information requests

Required Qualifications

• Experience in statutory financial reporting and knowledge of US STAT reporting concepts
• Familiarity with financial reporting applications such as SOVOS and SAP Hana ERP
• Leadership experience and ability to manage staff development
• Understanding of insurance accounting regulatory reporting (SSAP knowledge preferred)
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
