STEM Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support student success in a remote environment, the part-time STEM Adjunct Faculty will engage with students through instructional responsibilities, facilitate a productive learning atmosphere, and contribute to professional development while reporting to the department chair.

Key responsibilities

• Interact directly with students, providing timely feedback and support to enhance their learning experience
• Facilitate a safe and productive learning environment while overseeing course quality and content delivery
• Engage in professional development activities to maintain expertise in curricula and industry trends

Required qualifications

• Earned a terminal degree in Leadership, Higher Education, Research, or Community College
• At least 1 year of teaching experience in a formal educational setting, preferably in higher education
• Demonstrated ability to develop online professional relationships
• Evidence of professional research or creative work in the field
• Experience with both traditional and non-traditional teaching formats
