Job Summary

Seeking skilled Freelance Stenographic Court Reporters, this remote contract position will capture and document legal proceedings, ensuring the delivery of accurate transcripts in ASCII and/or RTF format according to client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Record complete and accurate transcripts of legal proceedings using advanced stenographic methods
• Ensure final transcripts meet high standards of accuracy and formatting, delivered in accordance with client templates and style guidelines
• Manage and organize notes while handling sensitive information securely and professionally

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as a Stenographic Court Reporter
• Ability to deliver transcripts in ASCII and/or RTF format
• Strong understanding of legal terminology and procedures
• Certification or licensure as a court reporter
• Access to necessary technology for remote work and audio recording
