Enthusiastic and experienced, the full-time Stock Market Reporter will write daily business news and feature stories, engage with Wall Street sources, and utilize traffic analytics to drive subscriptions and traffic in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Write daily business news and feature assignments on topics like earnings, economic news, and Wall Street commentary
• Cover news integral to the investment case for various stocks
• Engage with sources to uncover exclusive commentary and pitch news items and feature story ideas

Required qualifications

• Minimum three years of experience at a digital publication, preferably in financial media
• Strong knowledge of the U.S. stock market and finance
• Familiarity with news writing, AP Style, and journalism ethics
• Ability to produce both short- and long-form stories
