Stop Loss Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting strategic and financial objectives, the full-time Stop Loss Analyst will analyze claims data, assist in client engagement strategies, and contribute to the pricing of stop loss coverage while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze claim data to provide insights for client health plans and support sales and marketing teams
• Review and prepare new and renewal business proposals to ensure competitive pricing of products and services
• Assist in the negotiation process with new business prospects and manage vendor relationships under supervision

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required
• 1-3 years of experience in an analytical role (e.g., data analyst, financial analyst, business analyst)
• Familiarity with Group Health Insurance and/or Stop Loss is advantageous
• Experience with Microsoft Access is a plus
• Ongoing learning in group medical stop loss reinsurance and underwriting principles is encouraged
