Job Summary

A company is looking for a Stop Loss Group Underwriter to evaluate and underwrite group insurance applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate risk for group insurance products and analyze relevant data to determine benefits and rates
• Contribute to division profitability by assessing client profitability through experience and expense analysis
• Document and communicate underwriting decisions and maintain relationships with field personnel and clients

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• 2-4 years of Stop Loss group underwriting experience
• Proficient in PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheet applications
• Strong analytical skills
• Bachelor's degree preferred
