Job Summary
A company is looking for an Underwriter Stop-loss.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and underwrite stop-loss cases within company guidelines and assigned authority
- Collaborate with clinical underwriting staff to develop medical underwriting expertise
- Analyze and document risk selection and pricing decisions for efficient reviews
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 3+ years of progressive stop-loss underwriting experience
- Understanding of stop-loss market dynamics and risk management strategies
- Ability to manage high case volumes efficiently, especially during peak periods
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
