Stop Loss Underwriter

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Stop Loss Underwriter - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct risk-based underwriting of new and existing accounts to achieve profit and growth goals
• Analyze past claim history and determine appropriate rates and aggregate factors
• Manage performance metrics for assigned accounts and provide competitive feedback to management

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 1-2 years of Stop Loss risk-based underwriting experience required
• Knowledge of Stop Loss products and Employee Benefit Plans
• Strong analytical and technical skills
• Working towards HIA, MHP, or CEBS designation is a plus
