Storage Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Storage Engineer Expert to lead the management, optimization, and security of enterprise storage and backup infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and resolve issues related to NAS/SAN/backup systems and manage storage provisioning
• Ensure compliance and security by reviewing vulnerabilities and participating in disaster recovery planning
• Lead storage projects, troubleshoot issues, and represent the storage team in cross-functional meetings

Required Qualifications:

• 7+ years in enterprise storage/backup management, including expertise in NAS and SAN technologies
• Experience with backup solutions such as Rubrik and Dell PowerProtect
• Proficiency in operating systems like Linux and Windows
• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware and Nutanix AHV
• Knowledge of security/compliance standards and scripting for automation
