Storage Engineer

Job Summary

To support mission-critical SEC workloads, the remote Storage Engineer will architect, implement, and sustain enterprise storage platforms while driving performance optimization and leading complex storage projects on a contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and maintain enterprise storage platforms, ensuring compliance with organizational and federal standards
• Drive performance optimization, capacity planning, and resilient backup and recovery strategies
• Lead complex storage projects, including migrations, upgrades, and cloud integration

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• 12+ years of experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and administration
• Expertise with SAN/NAS technologies and enterprise backup/recovery solutions
• Proven experience leading complex storage migrations and integrations
• Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust or higher clearance
