Storage Engineer
Job Summary
Providing advanced support and optimization for on-prem and cloud-based storage systems, the full-time remote Storage Engineer will manage complex technical issues, develop scripts, and mentor junior staff while ensuring system reliability and performance.
Key responsibilities
- Provide escalated support for on-prem and cloud-based storage infrastructure, collaborating with other engineering teams to resolve complex issues
- Provision and configure block, file, and object storage volumes in both on-prem and public cloud environments
- Enhance storage system security and performance through regular updates, maintenance tasks, and participation in service improvement projects
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in IT or equivalent experience in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT or eDiscovery
- Strong working knowledge of HPE storage solutions and AWS storage services
- Proficiency in PowerShell or bash scripting for storage management
- HPE storage certifications and AWS certification or equivalent experience
