Storage Engineer
Job Summary
To manage data storage infrastructure, the full-time remote Storage Engineer will be responsible for provisioning, configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting DDN and VAST storage solutions, as well as storage area networks (SANs) and network attached storage (NAS).
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and create DataStorage Arrays to meet customer needs
- Manage and maintain DDN, Pure, and VAST SANs and NAS systems
- Implement and maintain data protection strategies, including backups and replication
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience
- 3+ years of experience in storage administration
- Proven experience with DDN and VAST storage solutions
- In-depth understanding of SANs and NAS
- Strong Linux systems administration skills and experience with open-source technologies
