Storage Engineer - SME

Job Summary

Providing senior technical leadership, the full-time Storage Engineer - SME will architect, implement, and sustain highly available storage platforms for mission-critical SEC workloads while ensuring compliance with federal requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain enterprise SAN/NAS and storage virtualization solutions
• Administer and optimize large-scale enterprise storage environments, including capacity planning and performance monitoring
• Architect and maintain enterprise backup and recovery strategies to protect mission-critical data

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical field
• 8+ years of experience in enterprise storage architecture, design, and administration
• Expertise with SAN/NAS technologies and enterprise backup/recovery solutions
• Experience leading complex storage migrations and integrations with cloud and on-premises environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain SEC Public Trust clearance
