Storage Principal Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Storage - Principal Engineer (Remote).

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and architect scalable, high-performance storage solutions, including SAN, NAS, and object storage systems
• Deploy, configure, and maintain storage systems and infrastructure, ensuring high availability and reliability
• Develop and implement data backup and recovery strategies, ensuring data integrity and availability

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in storage engineering, architecture, or IT infrastructure roles
• Strong knowledge of storage protocols (e.g., iSCSI, NFS, CIFS, Fibre Channel) and management tools
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, CommVault, NetBackup)
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Storage Networking Expert (CSNE) or equivalent are desirable
