Store Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Store Designer responsible for optimizing retail store layouts and ensuring compliance with design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review site surveys and create preliminary floor plans that meet design guidelines and building codes
• Present and incorporate feedback on floor plans from various internal teams to ensure operational needs are met
• Develop and produce architectural construction documents, coordinating with engineers and city officials as needed

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of experience in chain retail store design and/or CAD design
• Ability to interpret construction documents and architectural drawings
• Working knowledge of construction codes and accessibility design guidelines
• Proficiency in architectural design programs such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Sketchup
