Job Summary
Focusing on new account acquisition, the full-time remote Strategic Account Executive in the Public Sector - SLED will develop sales strategies, build relationships with government stakeholders, and drive revenue growth through consultative selling and effective deal negotiation.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic territory and account plans to achieve revenue targets
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers in the public sector
- Manage complex sales cycles, negotiate terms, and close contracts with state and local government agencies
Required qualifications
- BA/BS or equivalent experience preferred
- 8+ years of successful software sales experience, preferably B2B or B2G
- Experience with consultative, solution-based sales methodology
- Proven record of quota attainment in strategic field sales
- Proficiency in CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com
