Strategic Advisor Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Advisor (Consultant) to support business development activities related to Department of State humanitarian assistance programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic insight into the needs and priorities of the Department of State's Bureau of Disaster and Humanitarian Response
• Advise leadership on market positioning and client engagement strategies for humanitarian assistance programming
• Identify opportunities and facilitate introductions with stakeholders throughout the capture and bid process

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience supporting U.S. Government programs
• Prior experience with USAID's Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance or related Department of State bureaus within the last three years is required
• Deep familiarity with U.S. federal humanitarian assistance and disaster response programming is required
• Existing relationships within the Department of State and implementers of federal humanitarian assistance are required
• Demonstrated experience navigating the federal procurement process and engaging with senior-level government officials
