Strategic Communications Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Communications Lead to support the Defense Health Agency in a remote capacity.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the development and execution of Strategic Communications strategies and initiatives for the Joint Operatorial Medicine Information Systems (JOMIS)
• Engage with government leaders to create executive briefing materials and provide strategic thought partnership
• Coordinate day-to-day activities of the Strategic Communications team and track progress of work products across team members

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years of Strategy and/or Communications experience, preferably with Federal Government agencies (DoD preferred)
• Minimum 4 years of people management experience
• Educational background in strategy, business management, or communications preferred; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) is a plus
• Mastery of Microsoft PowerPoint and proficiency in other Microsoft Office applications
• U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain/maintain a CAC
