Strategic Communications Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Communications Lead to oversee executive-level communications and stakeholder engagement efforts for a complex federal program.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop executive-level briefings, memos, and talking points for senior government and external stakeholders
• Serve as a trusted advisor to program leadership on strategic communications and stakeholder engagement
• Manage and prioritize day-to-day activities of a 2+ person Strategic Communications team

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in strategy and/or communications, preferably supporting federal government programs
• 3+ years of people management or team leadership experience
• Strong expertise in executive communications, including briefing development and senior stakeholder engagement
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint with demonstrated ability to build executive narratives
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle and agile methodologies
