Strategic Communications Lead

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Strategic Communications Lead to support the Defense Health Agency under the Joint Operational Medicine Information Systems program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a strategic communications partner to program leadership and manage a communications team
• Develop executive-level briefing materials and translate complex topics into clear communications
• Oversee operations, prioritize tasks, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality communications

Required Qualifications:

• Ability to obtain US Public Trust clearance
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Strategy and/or Communications, preferably with Federal Government customers
• Minimum 3 years of people management or team leadership experience
• Educational background in strategy, business management, or communications preferred
• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and experience with DoD-approved generative AI tools
